Turning Points: Art for Survivors Exhibit
Saturday, September 24, 2022
Featuring artists from the Women's Caucus for Art/NH in partnership with Turning Points Network
Artists from the WCA/NH are exhibiting works in all mediums that speak to the trauma of, and recovery from, domestic and sexual violence. The exploitation of power and control are the hallmark of abuse. Works depict the physical, emotional and spiritual wounds of violation as well as the courage and empowerment of surviving it.
All WCA/NH and Library Arts Center profits from this exhibit will be donated to Turning Points Network of Sullivan County, a private, non-profit agency offering free and confidential crisis and support services to survivors, their friends, loved ones, service providers and concerned community members impacted by domestic violence, sexual violence and stalking. Many thanks to the generous sponsors for this exhibit: The Dorr Mill Store and LaValley Building Supply.
