Inmate Mail

Inmates may receive mail from Monday - Saturday using the United States Postal Service.

The content of Inmate Mail is restricted to:

  1.     Written correspondence on paper or holiday cards (no electronics)
  2.     Money order or bank check

No other enclosures will be authorized.  Stamps, paper, pencils, and other items must be purchased from the Inmate Commissary.

Delivery of prohibited Articles via Inmate mail or packages is prohibited by law.  RSA 30-B:9

Packages, gifts and other items must be pre-approved by the Director of Operations. Items not approved will be returned to sender.

Books and Magazines must be pre-approved by the Director of Operations and must be sent directly to the inmate from the publisher or bookstore.

Perishables and other food items are not permitted.
