Inmate Visits - Family and Friends
Visiting at the Sullivan County Department of Corrections is
Non-Contact.
- All visiting is conducted through glass over a telephone
system. Inmates are allowed a 1-hour visit per week to be held either
Saturday or Sunday, based on the inmates housing assignment. You may call
the facility control center at any time to request the visiting time for an
inmate. (603-542-8717)
- Inmates are only allowed three visitors, to include
infants / children
- All visitors will be subject to screening and metal
detection
- Visitors who appear to be intoxicated or who are
disorderly will not be permitted to visit.
- No cameras or recording devices are allowed in the
facility.
- Smoking in the facility is prohibited
- All visitors must possess and present upon request, a
valid photo identification (drivers license or military ID)
- Anyone under the age of eighteen years of age must be
accompanied by a parent or legal guardian
- Staff will not except property or money during visiting
unless it has been prior approved by the Director of Operations. All
inmate funds must be sent to the facility using the US Postal Service (money
order or cashier checks only, no personal checks).
- Delivering prohibited articles to inmates or onto the
complex is prohibited by law.

Inmate Visits - Professionals (Attorney, Clergy,
Investigators and Counselors)
Professionals may visit at any reasonable time. Professional
visits are contact unless requested otherwise.
- Attorneys are given priority due to space restrictions.
All other professionals must contact the Director of Inmate Programs
(542-9511ex.232) to arrange a time a date for a visit.
- Professionals must possess a valid photo ID with
professional credentials.
- Professionals are subject to search and metal detection
by correctional staff.
- No cameras or recording devices are allowed in the
facility.
- Delivering prohibited articles to inmates or onto the
complex is prohibited by law.
