The Library Arts Center Presents: Summer Performances for Kids

Thursday, July 7, 2022

These outdoor performances are a long-time tradition at the Library Arts Center, and performances take place each Thursday morning in July at 10:30am (+August 1st!) on the side lawn of our gallery, adjacent to the Richards Free Library. All Ages Welcome. We welcome and encourage groups of children from area preschools, day care centers, summer camps & recreation programs to attend. No need to RSVP-just come if you are able!

Performances are approximately 45 minutes to one hour long, and are free and open to all.  Our audience usually ranges from toddlers and preschoolers, all the way up to students in Grade 8, and performances generally have a wide appeal for kids of all ages!

The 2022 Performance Schedule:
July 7 - Mime, Chris Yerlig, Mimealot; Comedy Mime and Magic Show
July 14 - Musician, Kathy Lowe, Music from Around the World
July 21 - Magician, Andrew Pinard, Alejandro's Olde Tyme Magik Showe
July 28 - Story Teller, Simon Brooks, Stories of Sea Monsters

We are able to offer these fun, engaging, and enriching performances due to generous financial support from the Friends of the Richards Free Library.

*Feel free to bring a blanket or beach chairs, as occasionally the grass on the side lawn is still a bit moist with the morning dew.
