Public Trails Forum

Thursday, March 23, 2023

Tell Us About Trails! Sullivan County is holding another public forum on Thursday, March 23 at 7pm on Zoom

We continue to collect trail user feedback about the public trails within Sullivan county, which includes the towns/city of: Acworth, Charlestown, Claremont, Cornish, Croydon, Goshen, Grantham, Langdon, Lempster, Newport, Plainfield, Springfield, Sunapee, Unity, and Washington...and... we're holding a second public forum on Thursday, March 23, at 7:00PM via Zoom.  To register for the Zoom forum, scan the QR code on the left side of the attached photo shared with this event.

Project Background: we all enjoy a little outdoor recreation, and one of the easiest ways is to hit the trails and explore your own backyard!  Whether hiking, mountain biking, snowmobiling, OHRVs, horseback, sled dog or more - How do you use these trails?  Do you have concerns or ideas?  We recently kicked off the public feedback phase, with a Zoom forum on February 5; we'll continue to run the online survey for about 15 more days; and we'd love you to join us at our next forum.  To stay connected, register for events, access the online survey, and learn more about the trails plan initiative, visit our Sullivan County Trails Plan website.

This Sugar River Region (SRR) Trails initiative is supported through UNH Cooperative Extension - Sullivan County, New Hampshire Charitable Foundation, Upper Valley Lake Sunapee Regional Planning Commission, the Upper Valley Trails Alliance and Sullivan County New Hampshire Government ARPA State & Local Fiscal Recovery Funds program.
